- Pain awoke Henry from his nightmare to a worse one, where a serial killer was offering him breakfast and new bandages for his neck.
- "Thank God they're not floating" thought Henry, gaping at every one of the sacraments eating fried eggs on his living room.
- Dinning time is always awkward and uncomfortable, but nobody says anything, because upseting little Walter would mean a worse world for everyone, literally
- Henry watched perplex the old videogames that had appeared in the counter after complaining of how bored he was.
- Even when the other sacraments feared and hated him, Eileen kept insisting on acting like a mother for little Walter.
- The forest and the apartments were the only places they had access until Walter saw the beach on television.
- Henry wasn't surprised when little Walter called Eileen "mom" for the first time.
- Walter always is standing on the same place all the time, so everyone is starting to feel less and less uncomfortable around him, especially after Richard comments that he looks like "some piece of fucking modern art"
- The sky remains a boring gray until Eileen comments how beautiful it would be to watch the sunset.
- Everyone has his own room, but when they all fall asleep watching the TV in the living room, Henry realizes they have somehow started to become a big bizarre family.
- They all gape when Richard pats little Walter's head and asks him gruffily to "be a good boy and let him watch the football"
- He doesn't even remember how it all started, but now they're all laughing for the first time since they got here.
- Little Walter turns to his bigger self: "How come he isn't eating with us?"
- Next day there's an extra chair, and surprisingly no one complains when Walter sits to eat.
- Henry catches Walter staring while he teaches little Walter to read, and the words die in his throat.
- Lately Walter has become more talkative around Eileen, and Henry finds himself getting jealous at this.
- One day Walter catches Cynthia flirting with Henry, and for the next week she keeps finding worms on her meals.
- "Are you my dad?" asks little Walter, and Henry ends up covering Andrew's face with the coffee he was about to drink.
- "What are you talking about?" snorts Cynthia when Henry comments how Walter seems to really like Eileen, "He always is checking you out"
- Henry spends the next week feeling awkward around Walter and blushing at every touch.
- They all stare at Eileen's smiling face: "What do you mean Walty?"
- "Miss Galvin said the sunset is romantic" comments Walter as they sit in the roof covered in the golden light, and Henry has to turn away so he won't see his burning cheeks.
- First time they kiss is clumsy and fast, but the touch lingers for the next two hours.
- Henry catches 'Walty' staring at the blue spot in his neck, so he blushes and babbles something before leaving the room as fast as he can.
- Walter just smirks.
- Henry stands in the same place for over twenty minutes, staring at the flower Walter just gave him.
- After Walty goes to sleep and they check Walter isn't around, Eileen looks at Henry -that lately has been smiling a lot -and comments "the sex must be good, huh?"
- Henry spends the next five minutes coughing, almost choked in his own saliva, and trying to ignore everyone's smirk.
- Deep in the night, when Henry is finally asleep in his arms, Walter dares to whisper "I love you"
- "I love you too, Walter"
